Experience one of the larger Culture Beats programs in Darling Harbour, and indulge your passion for all things Latin American as Fiesta, Sydney’s biggest celebration of Latino music, food, dance and culture, ignites the streets of Darling Harbour.
Over three memorable evenings, from Saturday 4 to Monday 6 October, ‘The Best of’ the Sydney Latin American Film Festival will light up the big screen. Then get ready to be moved from Saturday 11 to Sunday 12 October as the party continues under the freeway in Beco Latino, an exciting new festival hub that’s set to sizzle with hot international acts, local talent, trickers, DJ’s, street football freestylers and lots more.
Enjoy the party-fuelled rhythms of Latinaotearoa, a Latin-funk soul and hip-hop outfit hailing from New Zealand, Los Crèma Paraiso and DJ Afro from Venezuela via New York, Watussi, Son Veneno and DJ Spex. Find your groove as dance schools entertain with a fiery dose of salsa, samba, or paso doble. Match that with delicious soul food from the Darling Harbour restaurants and you’ll have a feast for all your senses.
